The Indian Army has postponed B.Sc Nursing Entrance Exam, also known as Military Nursing Service (MNS) 2023 which was due to be held in April. The exam date will be announced soon. Also, MNS (Military Nursing Service) Admit Card will be released accordingly, at the official website of the Indian Army.
The admission for the Indian Army B.Sc Nursing is only open for female candidates.
To join Indian Army MNS 2023, candidates must satisfy the Military Nursing Service eligibility, qualifications for Military Nursing, interview, and Military Nursing Service physical requirement.
Military Nursing Service Eligibility
The Indian Army has released the notification for recruiting candidates to join the Indian Army as Military Nursing Service officers.

Nationality
The candidate applying for the Military Nursing Service application form should belong to India.
The citizens of any other country are not applicable as per the Military Nursing Service eligibility.

Gender or Category
Only the female candidates are applicable as per the military nursing service eligibility criteria.
The candidates of any other gender except females are not applicable as per the Military Nursing Service eligibility criteria.
Military Nursing Service Temporarily marital status includes both married and unmarried females. The females can be widows without encumbrances, divorcees, unmarried or legally separate.
Military Nursing Service Age Limit
The age limit for MNS lies between 1st October 1996 and 30th September 2004. This means the candidate should have been born on or in between these two dates.
The candidate who was born before 1st October 1996 or after 30th September 2004 does not fulfil the Military Nursing Service eligibility.
Military Nursing Service Education Qualification
Some entrance exam forms required only 10th and 12th degrees while other application forms required specified educational qualifications.
Military Nursing Service Education Qualification requires the following degrees:
The candidate applying for Military Nursing Service must have completed their 10 + 2 in the first attempt.
The compulsory subject in 10 + 2 levels should be physics chemistry biology and English.
The candidate must have passed 10 + 2 you with aggregate marks of 50%.
The candidate applying for Military Nursing Service should be a regular student from a Statutory/ Recognized Board/University/ Examination Body.
The candidate who is in their BSc nursing final year Military Nursing Service education can apply for the Military Nursing Service exam.
Military Nursing Service Physical Requirements
After the commencement of the Military Nursing Service exam and interview, the selected candidates will undergo the medical test. The candidates of every post in the Military undergo a medical test before recruitment. The Military Nursing Service physical requirements are:
Height
The Minimum height required in military nursing service is 152 cm.
Gorkhas and the candidates who belong to North East India Have got some relaxation in military nursing service physical requirements.
The minimum height required for Gorkhas and the candidates of Northeast India is 148 cm.
The Weight Limit for MNS
The minimum weight limit for MNS (Military Nursing Service) is up to 39 kg. This means the candidate should not weigh less than 39 kg.
Chest Measurement
The chest of the female candidates is measured with expansion and without expansion. This is also an essential military nursing service physical requirement.
The measurement of the chest with expansion should be at least 82 cm and without expansion should be 77 cm.
Eyesight
The eyesight of the candidate should be 6/6 without specs or glasses.
If the candidates wear spectacles, then the eyesight should not be worse than 6/12.
The candidate should not be suffering from night blindness or colour blindness.
Internal Checkups
The candidate has to give an X-ray of the chest and USG (abdomen and pelvis).
The candidates are required to give an Ultrasound for kidney stones.
The candidates have to undergo a Blood test and Urine test.
The liver problem of the candidates will also be checked
Other Military Nursing Service Physical Requirements
Apart from the above Military Nursing Service Physical Requirements, there are many other Military Nursing Service Physical Requirements which are given below:
The candidate must not be a patient of any genetic disorder like joint knees, colour blindness, or night blindness.
The joints and bones of the candidates should be completely fine.
The elbow of the candidates must not turn in the outer direction for more than 15 degrees.
There is the essential requirement of 14 dental points.
The candidate should not have any kind of fracture in any part of the body, as it will lead to permanent rejection of the candidate.
Note: The rejected candidates are rejected on a temporary and permanent basis. The candidates rejected temporarily can re-apply for the same and such candidates are given a time of 45 days. 60 days or a maximum of 90 days for another medical test.
