In the recruitment rally candidates are first called for physical efficiency test. In which candidates have to complete 1.6 km race in 5 minutes 30 seconds. Successful candidates also undergo balancing, 10 pullups and 9 feet long jump.

The candidates appearing in the recruitment rally have to undergo Physical Fitness Test (PFT) for which 100 marks have been prescribed. Here are the details of the marks for these tasks… Marks for Race 1600 Meter Run (Race) Timing Marks 5 Min 30 Sec 60 5 Min 31 Sec 45 Section Failed 48 5 Min 46 Sec or More

Candidates who have completed 1.6 km race in 5 min 30 sec (Excellent Time). They are given 60 marks for their excellence. At the same time, 48 points are given to the youth who complete the race from 5 minutes 31 seconds to 5 minutes 45 seconds. Also, those who complete the race after 5 minutes 45 seconds are considered failed.

Balance and the long jump are the meritorious nature of balancing in recruitment rallies. No marks will be awarded for this but you must have passed this event. Also, if you succeed in the 9 feet long jump, you will not get any points. However, it also needs to be successful
